» O Lord, give strength
to the work of our hands. « |
| Psalm 90:17 |
I was born in Helsingborg, Sweden in 1972, and I grew up in the
fisherman village of Viken. After having built my first classical
guitar in 1995, I eagerly set out to learn the art and craft of guitar
making. My following studies took me to Canada, England and the U.S.A.
In 1998, I settled down in Germany.
Since then I've been working as a full time guitar maker.
First for six years as an employee at "Lakewood Guitars" where the
active work on more then 4500 guitars helped me to hone my woodworking
skills. In 2004, I successfully achieved my goal of becoming a German
Master Craftsman after passing the three day Master examination in
Mittenwald.
Since 2004, I run my own shop where I mainly build new
instruments but I also do occasional repair work on classical guitars
if time allows for it.
